** You may need longer line and cables for install. This depends on your model and what options or aftermarket parts you have purchased.
We do know that normally for the model Montauk, it is not necessary to change the cables with this modification. For R1200C 2003 or newer and Independent, you will need to install a longer brake cable when installing these handlebar risers.
