Product Description
This MV Verholen handle bar riser kit for the F800GT brings the bar about 50mm (almost 2 inches Diagonally) closer to the driver. That makes the seating position more upright so you can be more comfortable on your bike.
The finish is silver anodized, hardware is included. No new cables are required, but it may require cable and hose re-routing. 1.500” Brake-line adapter piece is included in the kit.
Generally, it is sufficient to run all hoses and wires behind the fork brace. We recommend that this part be installed by a trained, certified technician.
**Installation of Handlebar adapter "risers" or Footpeg lowering kits can be considered an "Advanced" installation by some. Since we are unaware of each individuals mechanical ability, we recommend these parts be installed by a certified motorcycle technician that is proficient on your model of motorcycle and understands the demands and requirements to install "aftermarket" parts. Riser for F800GT
I really like it. The throttle cable had to be moved as stated in the instructions. All others had enough slack. My riding posture eliminated fatigue. Good product and well designed with great quality. Thanks!

MV VERHOLEN HANDLEBAR RISER BAR BACKS 2" DIAGONAL MOVE WITH BRAKE LINE ADAPTER FOR BMW F800GT
I had the riser installed by a qualified technician in case there would be some complications with the brake line adapter but he said he did not need to bleed the front brake. Using the adapter was necessary and that was the reason I bought this riser as opposed to other brands. It was also necessary to route the throttle cable behind the right fork as indicated in the instructions. The picture provided to help DIYs could be improved; it is too dark to see well.

Makes the rode a lot more comfortable
Looks like it came from the factory, aluminum matches with the bike. Completely changes the rideing position, no more leaning over.
